The
Washington Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization
committed to
provide enrichment opportunities for the students
of the Washington
Township Public Schools in ways consistent
with their mission and
objectives by offering grants for projects
& programs, generating
corporate & private financial
support, and encouraging contributions of
volunteer time.
The
Foundation can assist school personnel in seeking grants,
endowments and
other contributions from individuals,
corporations, foundations and
local, state and federal
governments, their agencies or commissions.
WEF is
also a charter member of the New Jersey Education
Foundation
Partnership. The Partnership is an affiliation
of twenty-two education
foundations in Mercer County and
beyond. Last year the Partnership
sponsored two activities;
a Public Affairs Forum at The Woodrow Wilson
School
of Public and International Affairs and "Rider Presents", a
rare
chance for students with an interest in performing arts
to see
high-level university programs in action.
